Angels & Demons is a loud blockbuster to be watched

Ronald William “Ron” Howard is an American movie director and producer, as well as an actor. Howard first became famous as an actor starring in the movies of 1960s and 1970s. Since he gave up his career as an actor, he has directed a lot of films, including the scandalous blockbuster The Da Vinci Code, and its loud sequel, Angels & Demons.
The film is based on the book written by Dan Brown, the author of The Da Vinci Code which made the mankind split into two groups – those who are for it and those who are against it, including the Roman Catholic Church. Even though The Da Vinci Code was prohibited in a great many countries, a lot of viewers around the world have watched the movie.

The plot of the movie Angels & Demons revolves around the desire of Harvard University historian and iconologist Robert Langdon to reveal the mysteries of a powerful secret society called the Illuminati.
The Vatican faces a crisis when the main four cardinals to supersede the recently deceased Pontiff are taken hostage by members of the Illuminati that adhere to scientific knowledge. The Church is promised that each cardinal will be murdered one per hour starting at 8 pm, culminating with an antimatter bomb that is to explode under St Peter’s Cathedral at midnight destroying the Vatican. To face down the horrifying menace, the Church hires religious iconologist Robert Langdon played by Tom Hanks who is very knowledgeable about the Illuminati. He has to start the investigation straight away, hasting to find the kidnapped cardinals by deciphering clues, symbols and other historical facts. Robert Langton accompanied by physicist Vittoria tries to reveal the mysterious death of the Pope.
The views of Rome in the film are splendid and picturesque. The viewer has a chance to walk along the streets of Rome and visit the most famous architectural and cultural masterpieces together with the movie characters.
The film does well to engage interest through its explanations of historical facts and the inner organization of the Vatican. The plot keeps the watcher engaged and interested up to the end of the movie. The plot unfolds with unexpected twists and turns that leave the watcher thrilled.
