So you are up on a roof, and it looks like a jungle of piping, but you’ve got a job to complete and you need to figure out how to support all of these lines. Most likely they are currently supported by wood blocks, but the engineer will no longer allow those. What are you supposed to do? Buying an individual support for each line would bankrupt you. That’s where Conduit Supports come into play.

?

A roof top conduit support is capable of holding many different lines at one time, especially when the lines are all running parallel to each other. In most cases the conduits actually rest on a piece of strut that is a part of the conduit support. This piece of strut can be held by all thread on smaller applications or it may be a part of a larger h-frame conduit support for larger lines.

?

Roof top conduit supports can even have clamps that hold them down to the strut when there is worry that the lines may have a tendency to move around. These clamps come in all different shapes and sizes are very inexpensive.

?

These roof top conduit supports are very cost effective. They can support parallel runs of 10 different small electrical conduits, or they could support a parallel run of 4 different 4” electrical conduits that weigh more than a man can lift. All of this can be done with just 1 conduit support. An most importantly of all, they are very cost effective, because they are available in all different shapes and sizes. Small or large, there is surely a conduit support that will get the job done for you.
