NTA Inc., a leader in building product testing, certification, compliance, engineering and code consulting services, continues building its level of expertise in structured insulated panels (SIPs) with the appointment of Neal Wilkinson to the position of sales executive.
Neal’s expertise in the area of structured insulated panels, quality systems and energy efficient construction fits well with the goals of NTA in providing building product certification and other consulting services to the construction industry.
SIPs, a type of composite, insulated building material, deliver superior energy efficiency and strength to homes and commercial building; and are both economical and eco-friendly.
In his new role at NTA, Neal will work closely with SIP manufacturers to develop quality systems for product testing, certification and compliance. He will also continue his work with the Structured Insulated Panel Association (SIPA), representing NTA and the SIP industry to promote membership and greater code compliance.
Neal brings five years of SIP manufacturing experience to NTA, as well as three and a half years of service on the SIPA Board of Directors. As an active member of the industry association, Neal has also served as a member of the SIPA Marketing Committee, and the Non-Residential Subcommittee. He has also worked with the SIP School, a dedicated training facility for the SIP industry, and provided the panels used in the school’s first demonstration house, which mixed polyurethane and EPS SIPs in the same wall system.
Prior to joining NTA, Neal was employed by Better Building Products, where he had responsibility over sales, marketing, and product development for polyurethane panels. Prior to his involvement in the SIP industry, Neal spent 20 years in Quality and ISO 9000 systems.
NTA provides engineering design, approval, quality audits, testing and certification services to the commercial and residential housing industry, and builders of recreational vehicles and park models.
